Part four of the 1/2 size Suzuki Violin restoration. In this part I complete the setup for the little 1/2 size violin for my daughter's Christmas gift 🎁 I made a new bridge for the violin and needed to check the nut to ensure playability. Everything went back on very well! I also added the fine tuners back onto the tail piece, I wish I had fine tuners when I was just starting out...so much easier. I've had people ask for a demo of what the guitar really sounds like. Here are two samples, one of just the open strings and one of the first part of Andantino in A Minor by Fernando Carulli. It took me forever to get a good sound on video, the camera kept picking up all the background noise as the guitar really isn't loud (think electric guitar unamplified but with quieter strings cause they're nylon). Hand-Crafted Quiet Classical Guitar – Acacia Body • Maple Neck • Wenge Fretboard I designed this guitar originally when I was learning to play classical guitar. The great thing about this guitar is that nobody could hear me suck for like a year. It was also amazing to practice with because I shortened the body so I could be lazy and play it on the couch. It gave me no roadblocks to practice. That way my wife and I could watch TV along with me practicing, playing scales, or songs.
